两种情况，一是，当名词使用时，常与likes and dislikes，表示某人的好恶或者爱憎,比如，Don't let personal likes and dislikes get in the way of the job.(不要让个人的好恶影响工作)。 二是，当动词使用时，一般现在时的单数第三人称，比如，She likes reasing in the morning.（她喜欢晨读）
